Honour for Forres air cadet

11.07.2018

Grenville Johnston – Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Moray – recently visited Forres Air Cadets to appoint his cadet for 2018/2019.

Every year, the Lord-Lieutenant appoints a young person to serve as their cadet, with Cadet Flight Sergeant Cameron Stewart selected from air cadets across Moray to undertake the prestigious role.

Flight Sergeant Stewart has been an air cadet for three years and as the new Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadet for Moray he will assist the Lord-Lieutenant in his duties as the Queen’s appointed representative of Moray and will also act as an ambassador for the air cadets and the young people of Forres.

Watched by his family, along with staff and cadets from 446 (Forres) Squadron, Cadet Flight Sergeant Stewart was presented with his certificate in the Sunken Gardens at Grant Park, opposite 446 (Forres) Squadron.
