On March 12, 2020, the World Health Organisation declared the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as a pandemic.
It caused global disruption, affecting countless organisations and businesses across the UK and beyond.
The Service Cadets were impacted, with the Sea Cadets, Army Cadet Force (ACF) and RAF Air Cadets all tailoring their activities to ensure compliance with UK and Scottish government restrictions.
In 2020, numerous HRFCA in-person events were cancelled or moved online. Despite the easing of restrictions it is likely that further events and activities during the remainder of 2021 will be impacted.
