Members of HRFCA’s Employer Engagement team, along with a group of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold, Silver and Bronze employer organisations, attended the Chamber Champion Awards.
The Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce event was held at Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa on 10 September.
The overall winner was Dundee Rep and Scottish Dance Theatre Limited.
The individual Business Award categories were: Digital Innovation; Future Skills; Impact; International (sponsored by Highland RFCA’s ChamberFORCE initiative); Net-Zero; and People Pioneer.

Among the finalists in the Impact category was Armed Forces Covenant signatory and ERS Bronze Award holder Dundee Heritage Trust. While missing out on the main category award, the Trust’s James Moran won the Impact Individual Award.
Highland RFCA hosted a table, inviting Armed Forces-friendly employers along to enjoy the event.
In attendance were Sharon Faulkner (HRFCA’s Highland Gold Network Chair and representative from ERS Gold Award holder Angus Council); Ian Clark (Highland Gold Network Vice Chair and representative from Gold Award holder IED Training Solutions Ltd); Ally Chernouski (representing Gold Award holder Abertay University); Alix Foreman (representing Silver Award holder DLR Media); Andrew Black (representing Bronze Award holder Andrew Black Design); and Fiona McLellan (Business Gateway Tayside).
