As part of the £9.6 million Dunfermline Army Reserve Centre (ARC) rebuild project, main contractor Henry Brothers has undertaken a number of social value activities in the Fife area.

The latest of these saw the site management team welcome construction students from Fife College for an insightful site tour.

This type of visit plays an important role in supporting the next generation of industry talent and is part of an ongoing collaboration with Fife College, aimed at providing students with practical experiences to enhance their learning and inspire their future careers in construction.

Fife College is an Armed Forces Covenant signatory and Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award holder.

The Dunfermline ARC serves as the Regimental Headquarters for 154 (Scottish) Regiment Royal Logistic Corps (RLC). It is also home to 239 (Fife) Transport Squadron and the Dunfermline Detachment of The Black Watch Battalion Army Cadet Force (ACF).

The new building will provide first-class facilities, allowing all the units housed there a chance to grow, and will impact positively on training, recruitment and retention.

In 2022 Henry Brothers won the contract to design and build the ARC and demolish the existing Bruce House. Mott MacDonald is acting as the technical service provider, supporting the Highland RFCA Estates team.

The Army-funded project is due to be completed later this year.
