The Centre for Professional Development was presented with Armed Forces Covenant and Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award certificates on 9 September.

The Centre for Professional Development is a Dundee-based management and leadership training provider offering Chartered Management Institute-accredited, off-the-shelf and bespoke training.
It first signed the Armed Forces Covenant in November 2024. By signing the Covenant, it has become one of more than 13,000 organisations to pledge support to the Armed Forces community.
Its commitment to honouring the Covenant includes pledges to:
- Commit to offering an interview for any member of the Armed Forces community applying for a job with The Centre for Professional Development.
- Provide employment support to members of the Armed Forces community.
- Assist with communication, engagement and outreach.
- Provide discounted training opportunities to members of the Armed Forces community.
- Fulfil its civic responsibilities to support the Armed Forces community.
The Centre also received the ERS Bronze Award. The ERS Awards encourage employers to support Defence and inspire others to do the same. The prestigious Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards are for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to Defence and the Armed Forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
