Dundee Sea Cadets paraded its colours through Dundee on 10 August to mark the unit’s 85th birthday.

The parade was led by Army Reservists from The Band of The 6th and 7th Battalions of The Royal Regiment of Scotland (SCOTS) and joined by other Sea Cadets units, Army Cadets, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, Royal Naval Reservists from HMS Scotia, and Armed Forces Veterans.

The marchers had stepped off from Dundee Congregational Church following a morning service. They then gathered outside the High School of Dundee before marching past the McManus Galleries, along the Murraygate and onward to the statue of Admiral Duncan situated outside St Paul’s Cathedral.

A series of wreaths were then laid in honour of the 18th Century naval hero.
