The 51 Infantry Brigade and Army Cadet Charitable Trust Scotland (ACCT) Six-a-Side Football Championships were held on 16 November.
The Championships were contested at World of Football, Edinburgh.
There were some great results for Army Cadet Force (ACF) Battalions from the Highland RFCA area.
The Black Watch Battalion ACF won the Senior Boys competition, while The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Battalion ACF scooped the Senior Girls crown.
The Senior Girls will now go on to represent Scotland for the second year in a row at the UK Boys’ and Girls’ Championships at Altcar on 22 March 2025. The Black Watch Battalion will also represent the country in the Senior Boys category.
Meanwhile, Corporal Jaden Farrar from Dunoon Detachment of the Argylls, was voted the best player for her age group.
The Battalion Sport Officer, 2nd Lieutenant Jamieson, said: “I felt so proud of all the cadets and how amazing they were.”
Refereeing duties for the good-natured competition fell to Major Rab McCauley, Captain Jamie McVeigh, Major Henry Canavan and Staff Sergeant Instructor Niomi Miller.
