Highland RFCA’s Highland Gold Network met on 29 August to again share best practice in advocacy and support for the Armed Forces.

The meeting was hosted by Nickie Scorgie at Sport Aberdeen and attended by around 30 network members, with around half of those joining remotely.

Sport Aberdeen was established in 2010, and manages and delivers physical activity and sport services on behalf of Aberdeen City Council and other partners. Nickie is the organisation’s Head of HR and Organisational Development.

It was the first meeting to include the 14 new organisations from the Highland RFCA area to be awarded Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Awards in 2025, bringing the total number of Highland Gold Network members to 61.

The new members are:

  • 20/20 Business Insight Limited
