The Craigiebarn Road home of 1232 (City of Dundee) Squadron of the RAF Air Cadets is currently being upgraded.
The project is to remove existing cedar cladding and existing single glazed windows, insulate all three huts, reclad them with Cedral Eternit boards and install uPVC double glazed windows.
The contractor is Elphinstone Group and the project is costing approximately £110,000.
The cadets will soon be able to enjoy their upgraded home with the work due to be completed in early October.
The work at Dundee is just one of many projects currently being managed by the Highland RFCA Estates team.
Another included the recently-completed external cladding refurbishment at the RAF Air Cadets building in Broomfield Road, Montrose (pictured, below). The improvements will benefit the cadets and adult volunteers of 2288 (Montrose) Squadron.
