Score Group Plc has become the latest organisation to sign the new Armed Forces Covenant.

In doing so the group – which provides engineering services in the oil & gas, nuclear and marine sectors and employs over 1,700 people – has pledged to support the country’s servicemen and women wherever and however it can.

The Covenant – which was rebranded last month – also commits signatories to ensure no member of the Armed Forces should suffer any disadvantage as a result of their service.

The signing took place in Peterhead, home to the group’s headquarters.

Score chairman Charles Ritchie signed the document that was countersigned on behalf of the Ministry of Defence by Lt Col Gordon Mackenzie, head of employer engagement at 51st Infantry Brigade.
