HRFCA recently set out its stall at the Highland Games and Gala at Bught Park in Inverness.
The event, one of the most spectacular traditional gatherings staged in Scotland, attracted a record crowd of over 10,000 during the weekend.
As well as time-honoured activities such as Hammer, Inverness Stone contests and Highland dancing, the fun included the TruckNess event – enjoyed by those with a taste for Big Rigs and chrome – plus an Armed Forces village.
The HRFCA tent was well-placed on the main thoroughfare into the stadium so there were plenty of visitors who not only benefitted from the full force of our Assistant Chief Executive’s charm offensive, but went away with a selection of our new promotional goodies including much-admired HRFCA-branded cotton shopping bags and our ever-popular and not-at-all-smudgy pens and must-have wristbands.
All in all, the ‘community engagement’ box was well and truly ticked!
