Bristow Helicopters has received the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award.
The award is in recognition of the support Bristow gives to the Armed Forces.
Bristow had previously signed the Armed Forces Covenant in May.
The Covenant is a commitment to ensure those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly. This sets companies on the path to have their pledge recognised through the Employer Recognition Scheme.
This scheme incorporates Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, granted in recognition of their pledges to support defence and the Armed Forces Community.
The Bronze Award presentation, attended by HRFCA’s Regional Employer Engagement Director (REED) Ray Watt, took place on November 23 at Bristow’s base in Aberdeen.
Ray said: “I was delighted to present the ERS Bronze Award to Bristow Helicopters in recognition of their close working relationship and support of Defence and the Defence family. Bristow is a truly inspiring company whose values align very closely with those of Defence.”
