Helen Williamson Financial Planning has been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award.
The award was presented to Helen (pictured) by Group Captain Jim Lee (Station Commander at RAF Lossiemouth) during the ChamberFORCE business breakfast held in Elgin on 7 February. Click HERE for more details on that event.
The award is in recognition of the support the Fochabers-based company gives to the Armed Forces.
Helen had previously signed the Armed Forces Covenant in December of last year, joining the 9,000+ UK organisations to have already shown their support. It is a pledge to recognise the value serving personnel, both regular and reservists, veterans and military families contribute to business and our country.
The Covenant is a commitment to ensure those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
Helen previously spent 12 years as an officer in the Royal Air Force, giving her an insight into the challenges and benefits of service. Her goal is to help her clients achieve financial freedom.
Signing the Covenant sets companies on the path to have their pledge recognised through the Employer Recognition Scheme. This scheme incorporates prestigious Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, granted in recognition of their pledge to support defence and the Armed Forces Community.
