Air Cadets of 379 (County of Ross) Squadron, based at Alness, Easter Ross, remembered the service men and women, both past and present when they paraded at the war memorial in Alness on Remembrance Sunday.

Cadet Corporal Jade Crosbie laid the squadron remembrance wreath at the memorial. Following the conclusion of the short service at the memorial, the squadron marched to the squadron padre’s church, Rosskeen Church of Scotland, Alness, for the Remembrance Day Service taken by the Reverend Robert Jones.

The squadron was led off by this year’s banner bearer Cadet Sergeant Drew Mackay accompanied by Cadet Corporal Evan Swart and Cadet Corporal Megan Williams.

The Commanding Officer of 379 (County of Ross) Squadron, Pilot Officer David Anderson RAFVR(T) said: ‘The Cadets have been working hard to improve their drill for this parade and understand how important it is for us as a Squadron to remember the fallen service men and women of our country both past and present. At such a young age, our Cadets did the community, their parents and themselves proud.”
