Cadets from The Black Watch Battalion ACF have just returned from an amazing Cadet Centre for Adventurous Training (CCAT) ski trip to Bavaria.
During the February 10-17 adventure in Germany, cadets Cpl Gardner, LCpl McSherry-Schee and Sgt Lloyd successfully completed and passed Ski Foundation Level 1.
Meantime, AUO Robertson and Cadet Sgt Yearsley completed and passed the Intermediate Ski Course.
Everyone had a fantastic time, with those who had never put on skis before tackling blue and red runs by the end of the week. Those who had skied before found themselves negotiating black and black diamond runs as well as enjoying some off-piste fun!
All who attended thoroughly recommend the course, both for those skiing for the first time and those wanting to develop their skills.
The cadets had a great time – and have the certificates to prove it.
