Former HRFCA Chairman Angus Taverner has been making creative use of his spare time by taking a fantastic set of pictures during a trip to Wester Ross.
He travelled north in November to take part in a photographic workshop led by mountain photographer Colin Prior.
Angus said: “This was mostly paid for by the proceeds of my wonderful and generous present from the membership. I could not have asked for a happier or more stimulating week.
“Scotland is a funny old place in the weather department but I enjoyed blue skies, early snow and the kind of gin-still days that only makes one yearn for the West Coast.
“Our collective efforts were pulled together to form an exhibition that was hung (and I think is still hanging) at Inverewe House.”
Angus also confirmed that he’s looking forward to the AAM at Queen’s Barracks in Perth on 25 March which provides him an opportunity “to see old and valued friends”.
