Fife College has received the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award.
The award was presented by Highland RFCA Regional Employer Engagement Director Roy McLellan at the college’s Halbeath campus in Dunfermline on 24 March.
Receiving the award on behalf of the college were (main picture, from left) Stefanie Sloan HR Assistant, Zelda Franklin-Hills Director Organisational Development & HR, and Allyson Chernouski HR Assistant.
The award is in recognition of the support the organisation gives to the Armed Forces.
Fife College previously signed the Armed Forces Covenant in November 2021. The Covenant is a commitment to ensure those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
The Covenant sets companies on the path to have their pledge recognised through the Employer Recognition Scheme. This scheme incorporates prestigious Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, granted in recognition of their pledge to support defence and the Armed Forces Community.
Fife College delivers more than 1,000 courses from introductory level to degree and post graduate studies. It has campuses and learning centres located across Fife. Its main campuses can be found in Dunfermline, Rosyth, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and Levenmouth.
