Develop your skillset with the UOTC

20.09.2018

Have you ever considered joining the Universities Officers Training Corps (UOTC)?

The UOTC is an Army Reserve unit that recruits exclusively from university students. It’s aim is to train the future generation of Officers for both the Regulars and Reserves. However there is NO commitment to join after university.

University students who join the UOTC will undertake Reserve Officer training modules. This will teach you everything from how to wear a uniform correctly to the ability to lead others in stressful situations.

The UOTC also develops leadership through Sport and Adventurous Training. Each unit has teams for most major sports and in Adventurous Training, you can experience everything from kayaking to rock climbing.

You will be given internationally recognised leadership training, make life-long friends and earn money.

All training is designed to fit around your academic calendar, your studies will always have priority. And, like any other university society, every unit holds regular social events.
