HRFCA’s Assistant Chief Executive Terry Cowan this week paid a visit to check on progress at the new Army Cadet Training Centre in Dingwall.
He was delighted to report that construction is ahead of schedule despite an initial five-day delay at the start of the build due to poor weather.
The contractors have been taking advantage of the recent good weather with the floor screed laid on Monday.
The timber kit is due on site in early April, with this stage planned for 3-4 weeks. Blockwork in the armoury has also started with the building really taking shape.
The news will doubtless be welcomed by 1st Battalion the Highlanders ACF.
