Raeburn Training has been presented with the Armed Forces Covenant and Employer Recognition Scheme Award (ERS) Bronze Award.
HRFCA Regional Employer Engagement Director Roy McLellan handed over the certificates to Owner/Director Sarah Raeburn at her firm’s offices in Kirkcaldy on March 1.
By signing the Covenant, Raeburn Training has joined one of the 9,000+ organisations to have pledged support to the Armed Forces community.
Raeburn Training’s commitment to honouring the Covenant includes pledges to:
- Promote Armed Forces opportunities on Social Media.
- Offer work placements to the Armed Forces community.
- Guarantee interviews for veterans meeting selection criteria.
- Offer freelance instructor work opportunities for those leaving the Armed Forces.
- Offer discounted training courses to members of the Armed Forces.
Raeburn Training first signed the Covenant in September 2022.
Raeburn also received the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award. The ERS awards encourage employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. The prestigious Bronze, Silver and Gold awards are for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to Defence and the Armed Forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
Raeburn Training offers training courses across a range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, warehousing, hospitality and sport and leisure.
