The Dundee Gin Company has signed the Armed Forces Covenant and been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award.
The Covenant certificate and Bronze were presented by Highland RFCA Regional Employer Engagement Director Roy McLellan to Dundee Gin Co Managing Director David Bruce on 4 April in front of the Tay Bridge in Dundee (pictured).
The Bronze award is in recognition of the support the organisation gives to the Armed Forces.
Dundee Gin Co signed the Armed Forces Covenant in February. The Covenant is a commitment to ensure those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
The Covenant sets companies on the path to have their pledge recognised through the Employer Recognition Scheme. This scheme incorporates prestigious Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, granted in recognition of their pledge to support defence and the Armed Forces Community.
The Dundee Gin Co was founded in 2017 with the launch of a full strength marmalade gin. Their products are available in small independent retailers, bars and restaurants, as they create sustainable and valuable relationships with traders, at the heart of the Dundonian community.
