Cadets from Robert Gordon’s College Combined Cadet Force (CCF) gathered at the College Playing Fields in Aberdeen on December 11 to take part in a Walking Home For Christmas event.
Despite heavy rain throughout the four mile walk, all thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get out and participate in the last joint Army Section and RAF Section activity before the break.
Hot chocolate and mince pies were greatly appreciated by all following the trek, particularly given the cold weather.
The £530 raised will be used by Walking With The Wounded in their work supporting employment, mental health, care coordination and volunteering, protecting jobs, homes, relationships and lives for veterans who are struggling since leaving the military.
