Graham Pest Control, the largest independent pest control company in Scotland, has signed the Armed Forces Covenant.

Highland RFCA Regional Employer Engagement Director (REED) Roy McLellan (pictured above, centre) visited Graham Pest Control in Blairgowrie on November 16. He presented the Armed Forces Covenant to Managing Director Ross Graham (pictured above, left) and General Manager Steven Morgan (pictured above, right).

Graham Pest Control joins the 9,000+ UK organisations to have already signed the Covenant. It is a pledge to recognise the value serving personnel, both regular and reservists, veterans and military families contribute to business and our country.

The Covenant is a commitment to ensure those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

Graham Pest Control’s commitment to honouring the Covenant includes pledges to:

  • Promoting the Armed Forces on its website
  • Supporting Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers by offering them additional annual leave to carry out their duties
  • Supporting Armed Forces events
  • Appointing an Armed Forces Champion within Graham Pest Control

Signing the Covenant sets companies on the path to have their pledge recognised through the Employer Recognition Scheme. This scheme incorporates prestigious Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, granted in recognition of their pledge to support defence and the Armed Forces Community.
