On 9 April 2015 the Scotland edition of The Times published a Business Insight supplement on Perth which included an article on the Reserve Forces and Cadets and their links to the city.
One important message was the vital role played within the Cadet organisations by Adult Instructors, one of whom was featured in the article.
It also identified the transferrable skills aquired by a member of the Army Reserve who combines running his single-handed joinery business with serving in 7 SCOTS. Hard and soft copies of the article are available.
