A tri-Service volunteer recruitment event was held at Falcon Square in Inverness on 25 May.
The event saw Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) and cadets from Sea Cadets Inverness, Inverness Company of 1st Battalion The Highlanders Army Cadet Force (ACF), and 161 (1st Highland) Squadron of the RAF Air Cadets (RAFAC) showcasing the benefits of volunteering with one of the cadet services.
Sunny weather aided the good turnout, with lots of interest shown from potential volunteers as well as from young people interested in joining as a cadet.
CFAVs and cadets ran a variety of information stands, with music provided by an Army Cadet Force piper.
Highland RFCA Chair, Wing Commander Dr David Caddick MBE JP PhD VR RAuxAF, attended along with his wife, Colonel Carolyn Caddick.
Colonel Carolyn is currently Honorary Colonel of 1st Battalion Highlanders ACF, President of the Army Cadet Charitable Trust Scotland and Chair of the Veterans Advisory and Pensions Committee for Scotland.
