The Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels has been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award.
The scheme encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. It encompasses Bronze, Silver and Gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the Armed Forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
The Bronze Award means the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels has pledged its intention to take a positive stance towards Reservists who are either existing or prospective employees.
As part of this commitment, it will seek to promote an Armed Forces friendly position and be open to employing Reservists and supporting their training and mobilisation commitments wherever possible.
HRFCA Regional Employer Engagement Director (REED) Roy McLellan presented the Bronze Award at Crieff Hydro on 9 November.
Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels Chairman and CEO, Stephen Leckie, said: “Our talented team come from all walks of life and we want to support them in all their endeavours, both at work and with their other interests, passions and commitments. That’s why we’re proud to have received the Bronze Award from Highland Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association. It’s our honour to support Reservists wherever we can.”
Roy McLellan said: “We are delighted to present the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels with this award. We are grateful for the support they give to our Armed Forces and look forward to working with them now and in the future.”
