The Queen visits Leuchars Station

July 6, 2018

Her Majesty the Queen was in the HRFCA area on 5 July.

She visited Leuchars Station in Fife to present a new standard to the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys).

As Colonel-in-Chief, Her Majesty also inspected the parade and met with the families of serving personnel.

Elements of the Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry (SNIY), Service Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers were also introduced to the Royal visitor.

HRFCA went along to watch as Her Majesty passed from one side of the station to the other, receiving a warm welcome from the public.

It was the Queen’s first public engagement in Fife since last September, when she officially opened the new Queensferry Crossing.

Her Majesty was piped into the base.

The Queen.
