The 51st Highland, 7 SCOTS Shooting Team recently returned from South Africa, where they competed in Exercise SPRING BOK, the South African National Defence Skill at Arms meeting.
The 7 SCOTS team placed seventh out of thirty-seven Reserve Unit teams, and an impressive 30th overall out of a field of ninety.
While in South Africa, members of the team also met up with the Transvaal Scottish and the South African Regiment, who were all keen to maintain and build on existing affiliations, and 7 SCOTS hope that further reciprocal shooting events will take place in the future.
