TS Royalist – the new flagship of the Sea Cadets – has been launched following a successful adult shakedown week, relief crew training and essential preparations.
The August 1 launch marked a milestone for the ship that set sail with 24 cadets on her first-ever voyage.
Over the next 40 years she will take 900 Cadets a year on life-changing offshore adventures.
