Cadets from The Black Watch braved heavy rain and a 4am start to ensure the smooth running of Pitlochry’s Etape Caledonia cycle sportive on 11 May 2015.
The Cadets helped out with parking, manned feed stations on the 81-mile course and were also at the finish to hand out medals, water and good wishes to the bedraggled finishers.
The annual event attracts 5,000 cyclists to Highland Perthshire and has been running since 2007.
The contribution of Cadets and Adult Volunteers is essential to ensure the massive and complex event goes off without a hitch.
