The fourth Highland Military Tattoo took place at Fort George, Ardersier, near Inverness from 8-10 September.
Highland RFCA made the trip north to host supportive employers at the event on Friday night.
Employers were drawn from across business, the public sector and education and included representatives from Baillie Bros (Contractors) Ltd, Gordounston School, Inverness Chamber of Commerce, Inverness Leisure Ltd, Johnstons of Elgin Ltd, M J Macpherson & Sons, Moray Council, Robertson Construction Group Ltd, Outpost Highlands, and Norscot Joinery Ltd.
HRFCA hosts were Chief Executive Mark Dodson, REED Ron Macgregor, Head of Engagement Dai John and Assistant CE Terry Cowan.
This year’s edition once again offered guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in Highland heritage and culture against the imposing backdrop of the spectacular Fort George.
The 18th century fortress saw a mix of traditional and more contemporary acts, including massed pipes and drums, highland dancing, competitions, and vignettes before culminating in a spectacular fireworks display.
The event had an RAF theme, looking ahead to the 100th Anniversary of the RAF next year as well as celebrating the 75th Anniversary this year of the formation of the RAF Regiment. Part of that included a flypast from a state-of-the-art RAF Typoon.
The shown itself was a great success, enjoyed by the employers, and on par with its much-lauded equivalent in Edinburgh. The opportunity for community engagement was also of great value, presenting another chance to spread the word about the work of the Association.
