Cadet bag pack boosts Help for Heroes

27.07.2022

Cadets from Vittoria Company of 2nd Battalion The Highlanders ACF took part in a bag pack at the Tesco Woodend superstore in Aberdeen last month, raising the fantastic sum of £661 for Help for Heroes.

Help for Heroes is the UK Armed Forces and Military Veterans’ charity and the money will go towards helping wounded veterans and their families. The cadets are proud to have been able to support such a worthwhile cause.

Also joining in on the fun was the Help for Heroes mascot, Hero Bear.

Hero Bear was delighted to be on hand (or paw) to help with the fundraising effort.

Help for Heroes helps veterans, and those still serving, by providing physical, psychological, financial and welfare support for as long as they need it. The charity also support families, because they too can be affected by their loved one’s wounds.

Help for Heroes relies on the spirit and generosity of the UK public, its partners and volunteers to keep going. It has already supported more than 27,000 people.

The bag pack raised an impressive £661.
