EASTON’S Training Limited was presented with the Armed Forces Covenant and Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award on 10 October.
Highland RFCA’s Regional Employer Engagement Director Roy McLellan presented William Easton (Owner) and Linette Easton (Administrator) with both certificates at HRFCA’s headquarters in Dundee.
Dunfermline-based EASTON’S Training Limited was formed in 2015 and delivers Security Industry Authority (SIA) approved courses to meet demands of new and existing legislation of the Private Security Industry Act 2001. It offers a variety of courses aimed at educating those wishing to obtain the necessary qualifications to embark on a career within the security industry.
The company first signed the Armed Forces Covenant in June 2023. By signing the Covenant, EASTON’S Training Limited has become one of the 10,000+ organisations to pledge support to the Armed Forces community.
Its commitment to honouring the Covenant includes pledges to:
- Promote the fact it is an Armed Forces-friendly organisation.
- Support the training and employment of Service spouses and partners.
- Support employees who are members of the Armed Forces.
- Support local cadet units.
- Offer a discount to members of the Armed Forces community.
EASTON’S Training Limited also received the ERS Bronze Award. The ERS Awards encourage employers to support Defence and inspire others to do the same. The prestigious Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards are for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to Defence and the Armed Forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
