Exercise Highland Hackle

7th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland recently invited Armed Forces & Veteran’s Champions, Perth & Kinross Council’s Chris Ahern and SSE’s (one of our ERS Silver Award holders) Jenna Jackson, along to see Reservists in action.

Chris and Jenna visited Exercise Highland Hackle at Fort George to meet and see the soldiers of 7SCOTS, an Army Reserve Battalion recruiting widely across the Highlands and Islands. The battalion has several specialisations including mortars, anti-tank and assault pioneering capabilities.

It was fantastic to see employers supporting their Reservists, with Chris remarking that a lot of useful connections and information were gained by all.
