HRFCA joins Working4Business celebration

02.06.2017

HRFCA was at West Dunbartonshire’s inaugural Working4Business awards dinner on 31 May.

The celebration – hosted by broadcaster Kaye Adams at Clydebank Town Hall – was designed to provide local businesses with the opportunity to gain recognition for and celebrate their achievements.

HRFCA sponsored the Excellence in People Development Award.

This was a closely fought contest between three very different but impressive and innovative finalists – Campbell & Kennedy, Glenhead Engineering and Together Energy.

Winner by a nose was Campbell & Kennedy, whose commitment to keeping the people they have recruited through continuous training, learning and development impressed the selection panel.

HRFCA Head of Engagement Dai John presented the award.

HRFCA also hosted six guests during the evening; Erik Archer – Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce; Russell Sim – Sim Property Group; Kris McDonald and Gareth Mathias – Clyde Training Solutions; and Jenny Milne – Healthy Working Lives.

Uniformed hosting support came from 7SCOTS RSM Danny Harper and NRCSNI COS Cdr Richard Moss RN.

Guests also enjoyed after-dinner entertainment from comedian Des McLean.
